Biography

Adrian Preda lives and works in Bucharest. He earned BA, MA, and PhD degrees from the National University of Arts in Bucharest. His practice focuses on relationships between humans and other species, and on the effects of history, evolution, and time. He works with painting, graphic art, and sculptural objects.

1SM of Art 1SM of Artist is a group exhibition exploring identity, transformation, and alterity in a shifting, deterritorialized and hybrid world. Conceived by Forumul Artelor Vizuale at the open-air cinema in Eforie Sud, 1MP Gallery offers each artist one square meter, a symbolic unit of autonomy and focus. In the frame of BUNA vol. 3, the project responds with a model of coexistence where distinct artistic voices interact without dominance.
