Flipped Stories is a video project developed during the quarantine in Germany in April 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The title refers metaphorically to phenomena marked by contradiction, reversal and ambiguity. The video presents a sequence from the artist’s private married life, turning an intimate situation into a self-portrait of marriage and communication. The artist deliberately reverses his perspective, echoing the inverted circumstances of the pandemic itself. Through this reversal, the work explores how marriage can shape, challenge and sometimes constrain communication between two people, transforming a private experience into a broader reflection on relationships and human interaction.
