Biography

Allegra Esclapon de Villeneuve (b. 1996, Vienna) is a multidisciplinary artist working across ceramics, sculpture, and live performance. Raised in Florence, Italy, her practice explores the human body and natural elements through abstracted forms. Drawing on movement, memory, and transformation, she investigates the relationship between the physical and emotional body, using clay as a medium for translating gesture and experience into material form. Alongside her sculptural practice, she develops live sculpting performances, responding to moving bodies in real time. Her work has been exhibited in Madrid, Barcelona, and New York. She lives and works in Madrid.

"with Ana Nance, Linarejos Moreno, Maria Gimeno, Pia Post, Gloria Oyarzabal, curator: Fabiola López-Durán"

Radical Epistemologies, curated by Fabiola López-Durán, brings together La Tercera Nave artists Allegra Esclapon, Ana Nance, Gloria Oyarzabal, Linarejos Moreno, María Gimeno, and Pia Post. Through photography, sculpture, ceramics, installation, performance, and research, the exhibition questions how knowledge is constructed: what is preserved, what is excluded, and whose histories remain invisible. Across diverse practices, the artists explore memory, territory, the body, nature, and inherited systems of representation. Their works reveal hidden structures while proposing other ways of knowing—rooted in gesture, material, emotion, resistance, and care. Art becomes both a critical space and a reparative act, imagining more just possible futures.
